Biography, John A. Barbaro, Ed.D.

John A. Barbaro, Ed.D., holds a doctoral degree from the Counseling Department at the University of Massachusetts. His dissertation examined the effectiveness of different lengths and types of therapy, concentrating on one group therapy designed to "overcome self-defeating behaviors." In 1984, he completed the final clinical phase of formal training in Bioenergetic Analysis and was President of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Society for Bioenergetic Analysis for over ten years. Dr. Barbaro is licensed by the Board of Registration of Psychologists to practice psychology.
